MedStar Ambulatory Care Center
Project Description
Client: MedStar Health
FWA’s involvement in this project began with the ALTA/ASCM survey to acquire the property. The project developed into a 130,000 square foot ambulatory care campus on a ten acre site serviced by Rt. 924 with an estimated construction cost of $17 million for the core and shell and $9 million for the tenant improvements.
The center will provided an alternative for emergency medicine and treatment in Harford County, Maryland.
FWA’s engineering scope included planning, site layout, utility design, erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management plans, landscape design, grading plans and offsite roadway improvements to accommodate additional traffic at five intersections. FWA continues to provide construction stake out as the project continues through construction.
